This paper propose to relate writings by Walter Benjamin, Roland Barthes and Jacques Derrida, in order review some considerations on the archive paradigm conjunction with photographic status. Propose rethink these notions open problems for analysis of contemporary artistic practices that use archives as a strategy appropriation rereading representations, experiences historical meanings. Finally, there are also intersections between reflections series Latin American projects creating collections based domestic photographs.
